The Islandview Seniors Club are hosting a dance at the Lion's Club hall in Sunny Corner on November 30 from 8pm to 11pm. Cost is $7 / person. Music is by Wild Country. Lunch tov be served afterwards. Bar is open.

Grade 12 students at Miramichi Valley High School are currently selling tickets for a Gift Card Basket currently valued at $2100. Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. All proceeds go towards Grad fees and the Safe Grad Event. Ask a Grade 12 student for tickets or come to the school office any day between 8am and 3pm to buy them. Last tickets will be sold on November 28th and the draw will be made on December 3rd.

The Parade of Lights is coming up Friday, December 6th, in the Chatham Business District. Miramichi Transit is teaming up with the U15 AAA Northern Rivermen to stuff a bus. They will be collecting non-perishable food items along the parade route to help the Miramichi Community Food Bank help families in need.
