On Saturday, September 22, there will be a celebration to honour and remember Amy Jardine at the Blackville Municipal Park from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Donations will be accepted and will go towards the Amy Jardine Memorial Fund. T-shirts will also be available for purchase for $15 with proceeds also going to the fund. There will be musical entertainment by friends of Amy and local artists, face painting and an end-of-season BBQ. A 50/50 draw will be held.

James M. Hill will be hosting their second annual “Tommie Homecoming” at 6:00pm on Monday September 24th . It’s a new tommie twist on the traditional “Meet the Teacher” evening! The Little Southwest Baptist Church in Sillikers is hosting a Missions Festival, Friday September 28 - Sunday, September 30th with services each evening at 7 pm.
