Miramichi International Women’s Day Celebration #BeBoldforChange

On March 08, 2017 people around the world are participating in a celebration that honours strong, inspirational females who are transforming their communities. Here in Miramichi, we are not asking for a strike. Instead, we are asking for everyone to come together to celebrate International Women’s Day. Join us for a short march around the town square followed by addresses from inspirational women in our community
The event will begin at: 5:30 at Cake a Chance and end at MillCove Cafe

Guest Speakers- Nadine Dugauy Lamay, and Tammy Scott and Geri Mahone will be speaking on their expertise and experiences as Women in Nontraditional careers..
MC is Peggy McLean 2016 Woman of the year
Entertainment (Jessii the Artist and Ally Paradis)
There will be prizes!
*Admission is Free, however a Pay what you can- donation will be accepted for the Miramichi Emergency Women’s Shelter.
March 8, 2016 at 5:30 beginning at Cake a Chance and ending at MillCove Cafe.
