Here in Miramichi\, we are not asking for a strike. Instead\, we are asking for everyone to come together to celebrate International Women’s Day. Join us for a short march around the town square followed by addresses from inspirational women in our community\nThe event will begin at: 5:30 at Cake a Chance and end at MillCove Cafe \nGuest Speakers- Nadine Dugauy Lamay\, and Tammy Scott and Geri Mahone will be speaking on their expertise and experiences as Women in Nontraditional careers..\nMC is Peggy McLean 2016 Woman of the year\nEntertainment (Jessii the Artist and Ally Paradis)\nThere will be prizes!\n*Admission is Free\, however a Pay what you can- donation will be accepted for the Miramichi Emergency Women’s Shelter.\nMarch 8\, 2016 at 5:30 beginning at Cake a Chance and ending at MillCove Cafe. \nThis event is open to everyone 🙂 \nInformation can be found on Facebook or online at www.womenofmiramichi.com you can also email womenofiramichi@gmail.com \n
