On January 24, 2026 from 2-5 pm at the Tuadook Village Community Centre, 2282 Route 420, Sillikers, NB there will be a benefit for Carlyn & Jon MacDonald of Sillikers who lost their home in a fire. Millerton School will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on January 28th from 5:00- 6:30 pm to raise funds for the Grade 8 year-end field trip. Spaghetti with meat sauce (vegetarian option as well) with a garlic twist and a choice of cookie or brownie for dessert. Price will be $15 per plate. Indigenous Recruitment Fair
The North Shore Mi'kmaq Tribal Council will be hosting an Indigenous Recruitment Fair on Friday, February 10th from 10am-4pm at the Natoaganeg Band Hall. This event will connect job-seekers, students, and professionals with potential employers and educators. There will be snacks and door prizes. RSVP by visiting nsmtc.ca/recruitment-fair.
