Words on Water
Words on Water and the Newcastle Public Library are launching a series of artwork by Gloria Savoie as part of the Miramichi Literary Trail. Saturday, October 19th at 2 PM Newcastle Public Library, Miramichi, There will be an exhibition, readings by Wayne Curtis, the recipient of this years Lieutenant Governor’s award for literary arts, Doug Underhill, Chuck Bowie and members of Words on Water. Refreshments will follow. This is a free event and all are welcome.

Sunday, Oct 20 Waterford Green 12-2:30pm Open to the public The Walk starts at 2pm. Registration is $5/zombie. We are also having a market, bbq, zombie makeup station, and free games/obstacle course. Trophies for Best Zombie, Best Couple/Group, and Most School Spirit Proceeds from the Walk are being donated to the Dr. Losier Middle School Drama Club.

Registration for Christmas Hampers for the Chatham area is scheduled for: Monday, November 4th - 10:00am to 2:00pm Tuesday, November 5th - 10:00am to 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 12th - 10:00am to 12:00pm. Registration takes place at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 207 Wellington Street.
