The North Shore Mi'kmaq Tribal Council will be hosting an Indigenous Recruitment Fair on Friday, February 10th from 10am-4pm at the Natoaganeg Band Hall. This event will connect job-seekers, students, and professionals with potential employers and educators. There will be snacks and door prizes. RSVP by visiting nsmtc.ca/recruitment-fair. Chatham Head Rec Centre invites all to our All you can eat Smelt Fry on Saturday, February 14 from 11 – 4 pm. In addition to smelts, we’re serving potatoes, rolls, homemade pickles, tea or coffee and a piece of homemade blueberry cake with warm brown sugar sauce for $20 per person.

The Sunny Corner Lions Club is having a Valentine's Day dance. February 14th. It is from 9pm to 1am $10 at the door. It is open to those 19 years of age and over. Open our cash bar. And the music is going to be by Chin Chin. Hope to see everyone there.

We will be holding our next crib tournament on Sunday, Feb 15, 2026. Registration begins at 12 noon with game starting at 1 pm sharp. $20 registration fee per team. We play a Progressive High Hand of 24 or more for $2 per person and have a 50/50 draw. Everyone over 19 welcome.

Royal Canadian Legion Br 10 will be holding it's next General Meeting for members in good standing on Thursday, Feb 19, 2026 at 7 pm at 345 Campbell Street. Any members who have not paid their 2026 dues can do so before the meeting that night.
