RCL Br 10 Crib Tournament

March 1 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Royal Canadian Legion Br 10 will be hosting its next Crib Tournament on Sunday, Mar 1, 2026. Registration begins at 12 noon with game play at 1 pm sharp. $20 a team of 2 to play. Progressive jackpot for high hand and 50/50 draw. All over 19 welcome.

Legion 3 Chatham Corn Beef and Cabbage meal

You will find the luck of the Irish this year at Legion 3 on March 14th. Come on out for a feed of Corn Beef and Cabbage 11:30 till 6:00pm (or until we run out). Cost is $18 eat in or takeout. You do not want to miss this meal.

Spring Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness fair Saturday, March 22 11 am - 4 pm Nelson community hall A small wellness fair with some truly wonderful local practitioners offering supportive care for the mind, body, and spirit. Admission is $5 Parking is across the street. Door prizes and community table of gently used books free for the taking.

St. Patrick’s Day Recovery Party

March 22 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

St. Patrick’s Day Recovery Party... will be held on Sunday, March 22nd. From 2 - 4 pm, there will be live, non-stop local entertainment at Sts. Peter & Paul Church; free will offering at the door. From 4 - 5:30 pm, a home-cooked supper will be available at Father Morriscy Centre. On the menu is soups, stews, brown beans, chili; served with roll, beverage and dessert. $10 per person. Easter Breakfast

Loggieville Community Center will be having an Easter breakfast on Saturday March 28th from 8 until 11 am. On the menu is blueberry or plain pancakes & sausage, juice, coffee and tea. The cost is $5.00 per plate. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance and all children who attend will have their names entered into a drawer for a bike. Everyone welcome

"The Knights of Columbus Council 8381, in Nelson, will be holding their monthly funding raising breakfast on Sunday, March 29. 2026 from 8:00AM to 1:00PM in the Seniors Hall located at 26 Sutton Road. Cost is $10.00 for adults or Take-Away (622-1010), $5.00 for children and a Family Rate is $25.00. All are welcome and the Knights greatly appreciate your support. Hope to see you at the breakfast."

Breakfast and Yard Sale

Chatham Head Rec Centre is having a breakfast and yard sale on Saturday May 2nd from 8 to 11 am. Our breakfast includes sausages, eggs, toast, home fries, baked beans, and bologna served with tea, coffee or juice. Price is $12. Table rentals are $10 each, 2 for $15 or 3 for $20. Mother’s Day Celebration

Mother’s Day Celebration hosted by Tuadook Village Community Centre, 2282 Rt. 420, Sillikers On Saturday, May 2, 2026. Doors open at 5 pm, show starts at 6 pm. Senior citizens night

April 16 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

There will be a student run senior citizens night held at James M Hill Highschool on May 16th from 1-4. There will be bingo, trivia, music, other activities, and food, drinks, and clothing for sale, cash only. Seniors are encouraged to bring their family and friends for a day of fun! It is entry by donation, all proceeds go to our WRED club.
