Loggieville Community Center is hosting a New Years dance on December 31st from 9 pm until 1 am, with music by Short Sweet Duo. Tickets are $30.00 each and this includes a professional photo. This is a 19 and up event. Tickets are available from 12 pm until 4 pm, Monday to Friday or on Friday evenings from 7pm until 9pm at the community center.

RCL Br 10 Miramichi will be hosting it's bi-monthly Crib Tournament on Sunday, Jan 4, 2026 at 345 Campbell Street, Newcastle. Registration starts at 12 noon with game play at 1 pm. $10.00 registration fee per person plus $2 for the Progressive Jackpot for High Hand of 24 or higher. Bring a partner and come have some fun.

The Miramichi Valley High School Grad Class of 2026 is holding a bottle drive on Saturday, January 10th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. All funds raised will help cover graduation fees and support a fun and safe Safe Grad event. The MVHS Drama Club will present Anne of Green Gables the Musical January 14-17 @ 7PM with a matinee on January 17 @ 2PM.
