St James and St John united church King George Highway is having a pancake supper March 4 from 4:30-6.  Pancakes, sausages, homemade beans cookies and beverage.  Free will offering

A benefit breakfast will be held for Emerson Beggs at the Chatham Head Rec Centre on Saturday, March 8 from 8 - 11 am. Pancakes and sausages will be served along with juice or coffee and tea. Please show your support for Emerson and his family as he deals with medical issues.

The legendary Old Matt Daley has died, and Pat Power has confirmed it as only he can. Mike McGrath has grudgingly agreed to hold the wake at his house, and Brigid Regan is busy cooking a meal capable of feeding the whole of Barnaby River, animals included. You will find the luck of the Irish this year at Legion 3 on March 15th. Come on out for a feed of Corn Beef and Cabbage 11:30 till 6:00pm (or until we run out). Cost is $18 eat in or takeout. You do not want to miss this meal.

St. Patrick’s Day Supper-MONDAY, MARCH 17TH, 5:00 PM. MASS at 4:00 pm followed by Ham & Potato Scallop Supper (at 5:00 pm) at St. Patrick’s Church. Ham & Scallop Potatoes, Roll, dessert, and tea or coffee. Adults: $15, Children $7.
