The 3rd annual Ladles for Cradles Soup Festival will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 11 am-2 pm at Max Aitken Academy (58 Crocker Crescent). Numerous Miramichi restaurants and even "Down home cooks" will be vying for the title of "Best Soup" of 2017! Attendees pay $10 at the door and are able to taste test the various soups on hand. Stephen's family is holding a benefit and chinese auction on Saturday, April 29th, from 5-10 p.m. at the Sunny Corner Legion, Miramichi.

The Knights of Columbus Council 8381, in Nelson, will be holding their monthly funding raising breakfast Sunday, April 30th from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Seniors Hall at 26 Sutton Road.
