MVHS Student Council is hosting a movie night at MVHS on May 27th, starting between 8:30pm and 9:00pm! The movie will be projected outside, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets! Knights of Columbus Council 8381, in Nelson, Sunday, May 28th from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Seniors Hall located at 26 Sutton Road. Cost is $6.00 for adults or Take-Away (622-1010), $4.00 for children and a Family Rate is $15.00. All are welcome and the Knights greatly appreciate your support. Hope to see you at the breakfast.

175th anniversary of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint John
"OUR BEGINNINGS" celebrating the 175th anniversary of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint John will take place this coming Saturday, June 3, at Saint Peter's & Saint Paul's Parish in Bartibogue where it all began. The day will start off with a Sweet Grass Ceremony at 7am followed by a breakfast. There will be presentations by people representing the four cultural groups associated with the Catholic Church over the years, including: First Nations, Irish, Acadian and Scottish.
