Friends of Beaubears Island AGM

The Friends of Beaubears Island will host their Annual General Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, 7:00pm, at the Nelson Rural School (26 St. Patrick`s Dr.) An abridged financial report will be presented, as well as a summary of the past summer season, and upcoming programs in 2018. This is an opportunity for our partners to hear our plans, meet our Board, and gain a greater awareness of our activities in the community.

Baked Beans & Wiener Supper

"Miramichi Worldwide - baked beans, wieners supper with dessert, brown bread, tea/coffee Saturday, Nov. 18th 4 - 6 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion in Chatham. Cost is a free-will donation. Tickets will be available on quilt and there will be a 50/50 draw. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards project in Rwanda in the new year. Everyone is welcome."
