THE MIRAMICHI SUPPORT GROUP FOR WOMEN WITH CANCER IS HOLDING ITS FIRST FOCUS GROUP DEDICATED TO ENHANCE SELF-CARE AND HEALING, on December 2nd, 2017 from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm, at the Howard Johnson Inn & Suites, Miramichi. The aim is to unite the strengths of the participants to share, learn, heal and celebrate in order to bring hope to women with cancer and to their families. Miramichi Worldwide will host "Christmas at the Vogue" in Chatham on Sunday, Dec. 3rd at 7 p.m. featuring local choirs and individual talent. Some lucky person will win the beautiful quilt which was donated by the Miramichi Quilt Guild as well as a 50/50 draw. Admission is a free-will donation. Light refreshments served & all are welcome. Proceeds will go towards project in Rwanda in January, 2018.

The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club will kickoff it’s 43rd season with a fundraising breakfast at the Chatham Head Rec Centre on Saturday Dec 9 from 8am until 11 am. This is a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, bologna,beans, pan fries, toast and beverages for 8 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for under 8. Take outs available for 50 Cents extra.
