Coldest Night of the Year
The Miramichi Youth House Inc. has our first ever National Fundraiser called Coldest Night of the Year!! We have a goal of reaching $25 000.00. Event day is February 23rd at the Knights of Columbus hall in Newcastle. Registration opens at 4pm, opening ceremonies open at 5pm and the walk starts at 5:15pm. The New Brunswick Genealogical Society, Miramichi Branch, will meet on Tuesday, February 26, at 6:15 at the Chatham Public Library. This meeting is open to the general public. Program will be a sharing of what families those present are researching, status of the research, and how we may help each other.

Hootenanny for Iggy (Ray) Savoy to help with travel and other expenses related to cancer treatments. Friday, March 1st, Knights of Columbus Hall in Chatham, 67 King Street, 7:00 pm - 1:00 am. There will be multiple 50/50 draws and many great prizes to be won. Plus finger foods and great music. So come on out for an enjoyable night and a great cause! NSER in Sunny Corner Saturday, March 2. Pre-registration will be Friday, March 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Registration will be Saturday from 7:30 to 8:15 am. Play will begin at 8:30. The cost is $20. Teams will be drawn from a hat in mens, womens and co-ed divisions. Come out and enjoy the day and help raise money for the Earl Doherty Memorial Scholarship Fund.
