The MVHS Drama Club presents Cinderella. Inspired by the acclaimed 1997 teleplay starring Brandy and Whitney Houston, this version of the magical fairy tale Cinderella is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Show dates are April 20-23 @ 7PM and Saturday, April 22 Matinee @ 2PM @ MVHS Theatre. Tickets are $20.00 and can be reserved by calling 627-4083 or purchased at the door.

“Mullin’s Boom,” a folksong first performed in 1823 by the inmates of the Newcastle jail, and thought to be so politically subversive that it was banned by law not longer afterwards, will be brought to life again, for it’s bicentennial, by a new performing troupe, Character Matters Miramichi. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 3 New Building Fundraising Event featuring Elvis Presley Tribute Artist Alan Smith and special guest Trina Berton.
