Stuff a bus

The Parade of Lights is coming up Friday, December 6th, in the Chatham Business District. Miramichi Transit is teaming up with the U15 AAA Northern Rivermen to stuff a bus. They will be collecting non-perishable food items along the parade route to help the Miramichi Community Food Bank help families in need.

Mark Saunders, General Manager of the Rivermen said in a news release “This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for our players to learn the importance of community involvement”…adding that “Being part of something that directly helps local families teaches valuable life lessons and demonstrates the difference we can make together”.
