Coldest Night of the Year

The Miramichi Youth House Inc. has our first ever National Fundraiser called Coldest Night of the Year!! We have a goal of reaching $25 000.00.

Event day is February 23rd at the Knights of Columbus hall in Newcastle.

Registration opens at 4pm, opening ceremonies open at 5pm and the walk starts at 5:15pm. The event consists of a 2km or 5km walk of the walkers choice and a map will be provided.

We will walk in unity for the hungry and homeless youth in our community and surrounding communities. We are trying to get the public to put more teams in and raise more funds for our event. To register a team for the event the team captain would have to register at cnoy.org, add their information and creat a team. Then inform all team mates of their team name and each team member will have to register as well at cnoy.org and choose to join a team, (the team their captain made up for their team). On there they can add their funds day to day and see the teams progress.
We were wondering since we are a not for profit if you folks at the river would be able to air our event to the public.

As a not for profit we have to raise $30 000.00 a year and we are hoping to reach our goal of $25 000.00 with Coldest Night of the Year so we don’t exhaust our community with the many little fundraisers we do a year.
