DESCRIPTION:The Miramichi Historical Society is doing a presentation in honour of Remembrance Day\, entitled Following in the Footsteps of the North Shore Regiment. The local North Shore Regiment was one of the most famous fighting units of WWII. MVHS History teacher Brandon Savage will recount his investigation from on-site and historical documents\, from England through to Germany\, in peace and wartime. The public is invited to attend on Monday\, November 12\, 7 pm at Beaverbrook House in Newcastle. \n
