SUMMARY:Youth Volleyball Program
DESCRIPTION:The Miramichi Volleyball Association will once again be conducting instructional clinics on Saturdays at MVHS. \nRegistration will take place Saturday\, September 16 at the MVHS gymnasium from 9 – 11:30am. September 16 will also be the first day for the clinics.\nThe Mini Diggers program is for athletes aged 8-10 (grades 3\, 4 and 5) and will practice from 9:00am -10:00am.\nThe Super Spikers program is for athletes aged 11-13 (grades 6\, 7 and 8) and will practice from 10:00am – 11:30pm.\nThe program will run 7 weeks. The cost to register is $45. Family rates are available. The gym user fee and a t-shirt are included with the registration fee. Athletes can be sized for t-shirts during the registration. The clinics will be co-ed with drills and exercises focused on skill development. As the skills progress\, competition will be introduced into each session. This will be a fun\, supportive environment with skilled coaches guiding the players’ progress. DESCRIPTION:The Blackville Mango Health & Wellness Committee is planning a Community Wellness Day. This was made possible by a grant received by the Wellness Movement. \nThe Community Wellness Day is a FREE event that will take place at Father AA McKinnon’s Memorial Hall (105 Main Street\, Blackville) on Saturday\, September 16th from 11 am to 2 pm. Everyone from Blackville and Surrounding areas are welcome. \nThere will be fun activities for all ages including bouncy castle\, balloons\, bingo\, yoga\, Tai Chi\, composting workshop and many more. There will also be booths to visit\, guest speakers and prizes to win. Lunch is provided. \nTransportation vouchers are available upon request.
